You don’t get that amount of time for (most) murder(s) in this country!
Remember, any unqualified, uninsured, incompetent layman can call themselves a ‘lawyer’ in the U.K. jurisdiction .
When people ask “Why are Solicitors so expensive?” – Remember, that we have to spend a GBP £x,000 sum of one of these each year.
There have been a lot of changes in the English practise of law in that time.
