In talking to a client this week (interested in franchising their business) – they were surprised to discover quite how “busy” this firm has been with franchising over the last eighteen months (or so).

“No names”, but we have (in this field) predominantly been acting for a franchisor – providing franchises as a means for Hong Kong Chinese to set up in business in the U.K.

Accordingly, we tend to be able to gauge how “tense” the territory is – by the amount of “New Franchise” instruction emails in our inbox (at any given time)!

The franchise agreement we developed for this particular franchiosr is designed to be quite simple (for use with those whose first language isn’t English), and involves plain English and layman’s language – thereby designed to be negotiated and concluded relatively quickly, cheaply and easily without the need to lawyers to be involved.

Please feel free to discuss with us.
